Welcome to cottage 433 Sördalen in Säfsen

Scenic Säfsen is located at Fredriksberg in southern Dalarna on the border with Värmland and Filipstad. Cottage 433 offers views of the lake and nature. The cottage is a lovely place for recreation both summer and winter. The cottage is close to check-in at the restaurant and bar Hyttan and the rental at Björnen.

In the summer, it is walking distance to the swimming area, which has a diving tower, jetty and shallow sandy beach. In Säfsen, there is a large cycling area for cross-country, hiking and swimming in Lake Säfssjön. The wilderness playground offers outdoor play with swimming and a barbecue area right next to it. If you like fishing, there are several lakes and ponds with scheduled fishing.

In winter, Säfsen offers good skiing, both alpine and cross-country, with several trail centers. A well-developed snowmaking system provides good conditions for skiing all season long, even though Säfsen is located in southern Dalarna.
